The primary aim of these codes is to protect the fundamental rights of individuals who seek support from a psychologist or psychotherapist.

They also aim to ensure a high standard of service provided by psychologists and psychotherapists, ensuring that the practitioner has adequate knowledge and applies it with integrity and awareness.
